VETERAN HERO ON ALL THE BATTLEFIELDS
When you meet Tracy Clark, Administrator of the Pembroke Pines office of Star Multi Care Services, you immediately notice her petite stature and sweet personality and know instantly that she is a caring, kind-hearted person. However, it is not until she opens up to reveal her past that you become aware of the true hero behind her sweet innocence and energetic charisma.
Her unparalleled enthusiasm has gotten the attention of both military and corporate leaders alike who have rewarded her for her ambition to succeed and her ability to motivate. Prior to working at Star Multi Care Services, Tracy served in the United States Army as a Medic during Desert Shield and the Gulf War. During this tour she received the medal for “Expert Field Medical Badge” and was personally recognized by a 3-Star General for being the “Most Motivated Soldier”. Although she loved her time serving our County, Tracy’s true life’s work was awakened in the midst of the fourteen (14) years she has spent in the long term care industry.
Mrs. Clark quickly learned that assisting older adults was a passion that could not be denied. She received promotions in both assisted living and the home health fields primarily as a result of her advocacy work for the elderly and her unique ability to network within the communities she served. It was not until her career began with Star Multi Care that she realized she could merge the two groups she admired the most, the elderly and the veterans, and fight a battle on her own turf.
Star Multi Care Services provides community advocacy and in home services for Veterans and non-veterans of all ages. Meeting their personal needs and ensuring they receive the highest quality of care has become Tracy’s quest. “I have finally found my true passion”, she stated during a recent conversation. “I can service the two groups closest to my heart and ensure they are treated with the dignity and respect they deserve”. “I am truly blessed”, she concluded.
On occasion, Tracy will have to fight for clients’ rights to preserve hours of service often reduced by payer sources. With budget cuts by insurance companies as well as community programs, she has readied herself through education, gathering community resources and gaining allies in the South Florida community to ensure she has all the necessary ammunition to go to battle if someone needs her.
For Veterans, like Tracy Clark, Star Multi Care Services would like to take a moment to acknowledge all they do, on and off the battlefield. It is due to their dedicated service, that the world is a better place. The Star Multi Care family of Home Health Services salutes all Veterans who fight to protect us on a daily basis. Thank you Veterans, for your courage, motivation and ability to do the things others cannot do for themselves.
